CCIN Members’ Update March 2019

Last month we attended the Labour Local Government Conference in Coventry.  It was a real pleasure to have so many Network Members join us at our Fringe.  Huge thanks to Cllrs Tony Newman, Lib Peck, Liam O’Rourke and Tudor Evans who joined me in telling delegates our Co-op Council stories on “Investing to Save – How Local Councils are tackling austerity”.  Thanks also to Steve Reed OBE, MP, our Honorary President, who made the trip to Coventry to support us and make some valuable introductions.

More and more councils are approaching us and asking how they become members of the Network, there is a real appetite to do things differently and your Case Studies are evidence of that.  We’ll be revising our Case Studies pack in April ready for the next re-print, so do send across your latest stories.  You can check out the Winter edition here.
