Principles met
-
Democratic engagement
We will support the active engagement of the full range of residents in decision making and priority setting.
-
Maximising social value
We will support the development of a framework and criteria for social value, giving substance to the concept and supporting Councils with the tools to ensure better local social and economic outcomes.
CCIN funding has enabled a programme of co-design with Health and Social Care, Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations. We now have a developed Cooperative Engagement Toolkit, tested by statutory partners and with a range of cross-system topics which is being actively used to guide engagement with communities when a change is happening, expected or proposed.
Cooperative Engagement in Action
- A ‘frame’ guides the Cooperative Engagement process, setting out the parameters, available resources and opportunities that may be utilised. Attached is the ‘Frame’ document, used as part of the ‘Climate’ focused Toolkit Test.
- Please see the attached presentation which showcases some more Cooperative Engagement projects.
