The CCIN has been working with Newcastle City Council to develop cooperative innovation in the area of Asset Transfer, the transfer of land and buildings from the council to third sector organisations, whether via management agreement, licence to occupy, lease or transfer of freehold.
As we finalise the report, with the support of CCIN Affiliate Members Mutual Ventures and Bates Wells, we’re looking to our Officer group to help us ensure the report reflects the best practice being used across our Network – what works, what barriers exist, lessons learnt, what could be done to make it easier? And, case studies of best practice, including examples of Community Asset Transfer Policies.
