Welcome to our New Member introduction and welcome event! This is a member-only event.

The Cooperative Councils’ Innovation Network comprises over 140 councils, political groups, organisations and supporters from across the UK and is the fastest-growing cross-party network in local government.

Join us on Tuesday July 16th, 2024 at 3:00 PM for an exciting online event, chaired by Councillor Louise Gittins.

We will introduce our newest members to the Network. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow members, learn more about what we do, and get involved in our upcoming activities.

Whether you’re a long-time member or brand new to the network, this event is open to everyone. We can’t wait to welcome you and get to know you better!

There is a growing interest across the political spectrum in sharing power and responsibility with citizens, supporting the development of community and civic life, and finding more cost-effective ways to create thriving and resilient communities.

The Network is a Special Interest Group of the Local Government Association and is open to all UK councils. Councillors and Officers are encouraged to participate in Network discussions and events, sharing ideas and best practices across the UK.
