We will be exhibiting at the NALC Conference and Exhibition for the first time this October.
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) represents the interests of local (town and parish) councils in England – a total of around 10,000 councils in England with 80,000 councillors making a difference in their community.
The event is an ideal opportunity for us to promote our newly launched Associate Membership Scheme which has been created to engage Town and Parish Councils in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales into membership. These councils have powers to raise their own funds through precept.
Local councils provide employment for over 25,000 sta , while their annual expenditure is in the region of £2bn.
The councils NALC represent, serve electorates ranging from small rural communities to major cities, and are all independently elected. Together, they can be identified as the nation’s single most ifluential grouping of grassroots opinion-formers.
We look forward to seeing you there.
