CCIN Members’ Update May 2018

The run-up to local elections is always a busy time in local government. Many of us will have spent much of the last weeks and months meeting constituents on the door-steps and talking to them about how, together, we can work to improve the communities and neighbourhoods where we live, and build a better co-operative world.
Many congratulations to those that were successful in the local and mayoral elections across the country. I’m looking forward to working with you as we continue to share and promote the best practice that exists in our areas and learn from one another.
Last month we announced that our 2018 Annual Conference & Co-operative Showcase was to be held on Friday 22nd June in Croydon. Unfortunately, we’ve had to push the date back to October. We will let you know the re-arranged date in plenty of time for you to get your delegation together!
