CCIN Members’ Update September 2018

  • 5th Sep 2018

Councillor Sharon Taylor, Chair of the CCINI hope that you have had a good summer, and the chance to unwind and spend time with family and friends.

Since our last Update I have had the pleasure of attending a meeting of the GMCA where I met Mayor Andy Burnham alongside the Leaders of the Combined Authorities in Rochdale, the home of Co-operation. The GMCA confirmed their decision to join the Network as our first Combined Authority, this was indeed a very exciting day and a great leap forward for the Network.

Bookings have been busy for our Annual Conference in Croydon on 4 October.  Thank you to those that have agreed to speak at what we hope will be our best CCIN Conference to date.  I’m delighted that so many of you have already saved your place.  If you have not already booked you can book here.

We’re also planning our exhibitions at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool from 23 – 26 September and the Co-operative Party in Bristol on 12 – 14 October, and I hope to see many of you at these events.

I hope that you enjoy this edition of Update.
