Welcome to the September edition of Update

A huge thank you to all Members who responded to our plea to submit Case Studies for the 2021 edition of our showcase publication. We’ll be launching the Pack, which includes more than 60 new Case Studies, at the Liberal Democrat Party Conference this month which is a virtual event, and distributing copies from our Stand at the Labour Party Conference in Brighton from 25 September.  As we are looking forward to taking the CCIN back on the road after a break of almost two years and to meeting you in person.  We’re featuring some of the new Case Studies in this edition.

There are still some places available on the Co-op Development Tool Taster Workshop run by our Affiliate Members Stir to Action on 14 October.

Finally, we are delighted to welcome all Members to a webinar on New Economic Thinking which will be held on 6 October where participants will hear from representatives across the UK mutual banking sector on the:

  • Benefits of Regional Banking – impact on regional economy and communities
  • The Challenges in establishing a Regional Bank, and
  • Fundraising
