This workshop will discuss how public service mutuals, which empower staff and the communities they serve, play an incredibly important role in the public services market place. They are responsive, innovative and resilient. Is it time for more of these amazing organisations?
We will discuss some of the key strategic and practical considerations when exploring the potential of mutualisation.
We are delighted to be joined by one of the original innovators in the public service mutuals movement, Scott Darraugh. Scott is the Chief Executive of Social Adventures, a public health focused public service mutual, and the Chair of two other mutuals, Bevan and Leading Lives. Scott will describe how being a mutual has driven the success of his organisation in terms of enterprise, quality, impact and people.
Speakers:
Andrew Laird, Chief Executive – Mutual Ventures
Scott Darraugh – Social adVentures / Bevan Healthcare
